SASKTEL INTERNATIONAL SELLS DATA CONVERSION SERVICES TO NORTHWESTEL

May 6 2002

SaskTel International has signed a contract to provide services to convert NorthwesTel’s 86,000 Network Access Service (NAS) customer records into the MARTENS® Suite of Service Fulfillment OSS (Operational Support System) products. The project will begin May 1, 2002 and is targeted for completion in approximately eight months. NorthwesTel is a Northwest Territories-based diversified communications provider, and the latest addition to the MICA (MARTENS International Client Association) organization. NorthwesTel will be working in concert with SaskTel International by supplying customer record information, using both manual and mechanized methodology.

Once the customer records are populated into the MARTENS Suite, NorthwesTel will enjoy a fully integrated customer service provisioning and activation solution, that allows them to achieve total automated, flow-through provisioning for all customer services, and seamless instant service/service-on-demand capabilities via a service activation module.
