Description of Project:
A 2 day IPTV workshop was held where various SaskTel IPTV SME’s provided in-depth presentations and tours around SaskTel’s IPTV implementation.  The workshop was targeted at independent telcos and other services providers looking to deploy an IPTV service.

The IPTV workshop included presentations covering:

• Strategy and industry drivers – business case development
• Marketing – branding, promotion, packaging, content
• Operational issues – install, support, training, customer care & billing
• Technical – access planning, head-end considerations, set-top box issues
• Indepth tour of operations
• Question and Answer sessions with workshop presenters
