SaskTel International (SI), a wholly owned subsidiary of SaskTel*, has been helping clients around the globe develop, improve, and expand their telecommunications systems since 1986.

SaskTel International’s head office is located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and is home to our OSS Solutions and ICT Consulting divisions. In addition to core staff members based in Regina, SI has regional offices in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, along with a number of employees posted overseas on assignments for clients, or pursuing business opportunities around the world.

Our innovative operational support systems solutions provide a modular approach to managing every aspect of a telecommunications network for service providers. A major independent research and consulting firm recently reported that:

In addition to OSS service fulfillment software solutions, SaskTel International has been consulting with communications providers around the world. All told, SaskTel International has worked in more than 30 countries on six continents. The wide-ranging projects we have been a part of include:

Telecommunications system in the English Chunnel. SI provided project management, consulting, installation and commissioning services for telecommunications used within the Channel Tunnel.
Operated and invested in cable/communications companies in Leicester (United Kingdom), and Wellington, New Zealand.
Deployed 1,500 kilometres of fiber optics in the South China Sea
Developed 550 telecenters in the Philippines
Recently awarded a three-year management contract by the Government of Tanzania to manage all aspects of the operations, maintenance and expansion of Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited (TTCL)

*SaskTel has been the principal supplier of telecommunications in Saskatchewan for over 95 years, and maintains investments in companies which provide directory publishing, remote security monitoring, system design, project management, engineering consulting, software sales, multimedia, cable television, transaction clearinghouse, and wireless point-of-sale services. SaskTel's 3,900 employees provide advanced communications services to over 637,000 wireline, 104,000 high speed internet, 62,000 IPTV and 444,000 wireless customers dispersed over 650,000 square kilometers of operating territory.
