Josie's Bio

Josie Howard is the Director of Finance & Logistics for SaskTel International and is responsible for the management of all activities involved in acquiring and transporting procured equipment from the point of origin to the final destination for major international projects. As the Director of Finance, Josie is accountable for the preparation and interpretation of the financial statements as well as the yearly budget that reflects the Corporate Strategic Plan. 

Josie Howard has previously held the positions of an Accountant-Systems Analyst in Customer Billing Services, an Accountant in Corporate Accounting and Accounting Assistant in Financial Methods within SaskTel Holdco since 1985.

Prior to joining SaskTel, Josie worked as an Accountant for Imperial Life Assurance Co. and Aetna Life in Toronto, Ontario. Josie also worked for the auditing firms of Deloitte's Haskins & Sells and Ernst & Whinney.

Josie graduated from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Josie has served as a Member of the Advisory Board for the Canadian Multicultural Council from 1985-1988. Josie has served on the Board as Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer for the Philippine Cultural Society of Regina.

Josie is presently an official of Skate Canada, which is the National Sports Governing Body for Figure Skating as a Sectional and Senior Computer Accountant.
